What we have sung
Since its formation in 1972 the Society has performed about four concerts a year - about 150 concerts in all - and has built up a vast and varied repertoire. From Allegri to Vivaldi; from the Italian renaissance of Gabrieli to the 20th Century modernists of Michael Tippett and Maxwell Davies; from the gravitas of Bruckner to the songs of Cole Porter. More latterly and into the 21st Century the Society has commissioned works from Patrick Larley and Andrew Mildinhall. Please click the link below for a document that lists, in composer order, every major work that we've performed. The second document contains comprehensive details of all the Society's concerts from 1972 to 2005. Please check back again soon as we bring this document fully up to date.
